A Celebration of Marriage for

& JOHN

Gwen and John celebrated one year of marriage and wedding reception on a beautiful April day at the historic Trolley Barn in Atlanta, Georgia. The two, along with their new addition, sweet baby Annabelle, gathered with family and friends for afternoon cocktails, a farm-to-table dinner, and live music.

The inspiration for this day was taken from the stunning backyard elopement, where the couple recited their vows in their own garden, surrounded by just their parents.

The color palette is rooted in warm neutrals, from blush to soft green, pale blues, to a buttery cream hue, all grounded by wicker and rattan browns and a deep denim tone. We pulled sentimental details, through illustration, a family symbol (the bell), nods to the original wedding, and the repeated arch motif, reminiscent of the arbor Gwen had adorned herself for their at-home elopement. The venue was embellished with Spring flora and fauna, softening the space. The cocktails were handcrafted and refreshing, and the meal will have a sense of warmth and homeyness to it.
