Simply Charming Socials is a full-service event planning and design company, specializing in weddings, socials, and editorial shoots. We offer a wide range of services including creative direction, logistical planning, wardrobe styling, event production, custom décor creation, unique rentals, venue consulting, and more. Each package is tailored to meet the needs and style of the individual client. They receive nothing less than what they desire and so much more than they could ever imagine.

What do we love? Our main focus is the details. We work side-by-side with our clients to uncover their vision and bring it to life. And when you take a closer look, it’s the details that shine. We think of everything, we style to the tee, and we always go one step further to create events that are personal, beautiful, and magical.


From the moment a prospective client inquires, we’re interested in their story. Each event, whether it be a wedding, social, shower, vow renewal, elopement or otherwise, is significant and unique. As our capabilities range from Coordination to Full-Service Planning and Design and everything in between, our packages are completely customized per client. We discuss specifics and build a proposal that offers the best combination of services required. From logistical planning to creative direction, we bring both sides of the spectrum, ensuring each event is exceptionally executed and styled. What makes us unique? In addition to being a well-balanced planning and design firm, we offer stellar services such as custom décor creation where we dream up and build those special touches ranging from signage to hanging installations.



Owner Kristine Cholakian Cooke is a planner, designer, stylist, collector, crafter, and curator. Her need for organization runs deep in her soul, while creating and designing truly makes her heart sing. After earning a degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Georgia, Kristine began her career in Manhattan working for several design houses as a public relations assistant and event manager. She has helped produce countless runway shows and look books, launched new collections, and styled for editorial shoots and celebrities. It was in New York that, by chance, Kristine planned and executed her first wedding. She fell in love.

With each event she plans, client relationships come first. From the time she meets a bride to the moment she sends her down the aisle, Kristine builds a bond that is unforgettable. And when it comes to design, she loves a challenge. She pulls inspiration from art, music, architecture, fashion, and above all, her clients. Wrapping it all together, she creates beautiful, lasting memories for everyone involved.

Kristine currently resides in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with her two loves, graphic designer husband Ken and sweet chihuahua Lucy. VIEW LOOKBOOK



In 2011, a great duo was born. Kristine Cholakian and Danielle Copeland met at a wedding and knew it was “partners at first sight.” They quickly merged their existing companies to form Simply Charming Socials. With similar, detail-focused planning styles, yet very different aesthetics, they were the perfect combo. Together they took the Atlanta wedding industry by storm and their work gained recognition from countless media outlets including Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Weddings, Style Me Pretty, and many more. In late 2013, Danielle left Simply Charming in order to spend more time with her family and explore new ventures. It was bittersweet, but the impression that she made on her clients, the industry, and especially Kristine, will not be forgotten.
